IGEN ENERGATHON

The Birth of IGEN ENERGATHON :To contribute to energy action and support SDG Goal 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy), The Institution of Green Engineers conceived the concept of an energy action marathon titled ENERGATHON during the covid crisis with the indexing from 50th EARTHDAY. The first World Record Attempted IGEN ENERGATHON 2020 was launched and completed with an award from the Asia Book of Records and the India Book of Records for13.36 hours nonstop virtual conference with 40 speakers and ten partners.In accordance with that, the Second World Recorded Attempt IGEN ENERGATHON 2023 began on April 22, 2023 to commemorate the 53rd EARTH DAY.
IGEN ENERGATHON 2023 is an EarthDay Indexed - Non Stop Sixteen Hour Marathon on Energy for Sustainability in Analysis and Recommendations for SDG7 and related UN Goals, scheduled on 27th May 2023. The goal is to bring together scholars, scientists, experts and researchers, decision makers, and other stakeholders from all sectors on a single platform to discuss issues related to energy and environmental protections in sustainable development, as well as to provide green solutions for implementation.
