The premier environmental innovation competition bringing together the brightest minds to tackle our planet's most pressing challenges
The third edition of this non-stop MARATHON, certified by the Limca Book of Records (LBR) and the World Book of Records London (WBR), will feature 30 continuous hours of deliberation on the Panchabhutas. The event will unite 30 partners from 30 countries, 30 states, and 30 districts, with 399 speakers contributing insights on 30 Climate Action targets aligned with the SDGs and 30 themes connected to COP30 (UN Climate Change Conference), which will take place in Brazil from 10 to 21 November 2025 The theme of IGEN ENVIRONTHON 2025 is Climate Adaptation and Financing to Sustain Harmony with the Five Elements (Panchabhutas). This theme aims to support climate change mitigation in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and will contribute actionable summit recommendations for COP30.
Inspired by ancient wisdom, the Panchabhuthas (Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Space) represent the foundational elements of our natural world. This year's challenge focuses on developing innovative solutions that respect and restore the balance between these elements.
Environthon 2025 directly contributes to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and supports the objectives of COP30, creating pathways for scalable environmental solutions with global impact.

Each award features design elements representing the specific natural element it celebrates.
Each Environthon 2025 participant receives a certificate and an eco-friendly seed-embedded token, honoring their commitment to sustainability.
Made from recycled materials, this recognition goes to the college or school with the highest number of participants.
Sustainable solutions for land management, agriculture, and waste reduction
Objective: To inspire participants to develop innovative and climate-resilient crops or cropping systems by integrating scientific research, sustainable practices, and indigenous agricultural knowledge β in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 2 (Zero Hunger), SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), and SDG 13 (Climate Action).
