The birth of IGEN ENERGATHON: To contribute to energy action and support SDG Goal 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy), The Institution of Green Engineers conceived the concept of an energy action marathon titled ENERGATHON during the covid crisis with the indexing from 50th EARTHDAY. The first World Record Attempted IGEN ENERGATHON 2020 was launched and successfully completed with an award from the World Book of Records London , Asia Book of Records and the India Book of Records for 13.36 hours nonstop virtual conference with 40 speakers and ten partners. In accordance with that, the Second World Recorded Attempted and achieved WRCA (Great Britian) Certification for IGEN ENERGATHON 2023 . The IGEN ENERGATHON Version 3.0 scheduled on 18th May 2024 to commemorate the 54th EARTH DAY.
